Blush Hydrangea Redeemed Farm Wedding | Ciera & Taylor

Weddings

Ciera & Taylor’s wedding day at Redeemed Farm overwhelmed me with its beauty. From the very first hour, this day moved with a delighted reverence and filled with happy tears. The late August blush hydrangeas in the gardens added charm and fit perfectly with Ciera’s floral vision. Ciera & Taylor’s ceremony on the Vineyard Lawn was stunning: they married beneath a a white cross set against a sky painted with ruffled clouds. I will never forget how completely at ease these two are together — a contentedness so genuine it made the entire day feel like a family reunion.

Hydrangea Heaven at Redeemed Farm

Before hair and makeup had even started, Taylor made sure Ciera’s morning began with intention. He gave her a gift and a handwritten note that brought her to tears in the first moments of their wedding morning. It set the tone for everything that followed: soft, sincere, and full of gratitude. After Ciera slipped into her Madi Lane gown, she shared a first look and gave gifts to her parents. The bridal suite was framed by the loveliest hydrangeas you’ve ever seen – so heavy with blossoms! We did her bridesmaid first look outside and oh my was it sweet to see the glee in everyone’s eyes as Ciera showed off her bridal look!

Oh my goodness I must share how those hydrangeas absolutely became the costar of the day! Redeemed Farm simply takes the best care of their grounds! These late-August pink blooms framed the ceremony and so many portraits – I truly wanted them in every frame! Ciera walked down the aisle of the Vineyard Lawn with her father. Taylor pulled on every heart string as he saw his beautiful bride coming to him. Officiated by Ciera’s aunt, the wedding began with live guitar and vocals from Sean Donovan. As Ciera and Taylor tied the strand of three cords, it was clear: this was a day built on faith and family.

A Family Reunion Under the Late-Summer Sky

If the ceremony was sweet, then I’ll say the reception was pure delight. Guests moved into the historic barn at Redeemed Farm for a Donatelli’s-catered dinner, and from the toasts onward, the room felt less like a wedding reception and more like the best family reunion you’ve ever attended — full of stories, full-throated laughter, and the kind of ease that comes when two people this happy invite everyone else in on their joy. Nelson’s Ice Cream scooped a sweet treat for every guest as the dancing began and oh so many family photos were taken.

As the sun began to set, Ciera & Taylor hung their wine cellar lock on the corn crib. Then came not one but three first dances — with each other, and with the parents who’ve loved them their whole lives — before DJ Goodnight opened the floor and the dancing carried on late into the night. Full throttle, epic dancing by the way. All evening, Ciera and Taylor delighted in each other and in every hour of their day, and that joy was contagious.

Letter to the Couple

Ciera & Taylor, I have treasured getting to know you ever since we first met. Your engagement session was filled with summer blooms at Arneson Acres, and it felt so right to see your wedding day filled with hydrangeas at Redeemed Farm. I loved witnessing how much peace and reverence you both carry into your marriage. Taylor, the gift and note you gave Ciera before the morning started absolutely made my day. Seeing your heart on your sleeve as you received all the goodness of God was such a gift. Ciera, watching you enter the Vineyard Lawn surrounded by three generations of your family, and then spend the rest of the day laughing with Taylor like you’d been doing it forever, was glorious. I pray that the Lord continues to show you the gift He has given to each of you in each other. Thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was a joy!

With Love,

Jennifer

Redeemed Farm is tucked into the rolling countryside of Scandia, Minnesota, just under an hour northeast of the Twin Cities, and it’s the kind of venue that makes you slow down the moment you arrive. Meticulously kept gardens offer fresh flowers throughout the seasons. Ceremonies can take place in several locations onsite, with this wedding taking place on the Vineyard Lawn in front of a simple white cross, with the farm’s open fields and big Minnesota sky doing all the backdrop work, while receptions move into a rustic barn cellar full of warm, historic wood. I love Redeemed Farm for how effortlessly it holds both reverence and celebration — it’s a place where an elegant, faith-filled ceremony and an all-night family dance party feel equally at home.
