This Bloom Lake Barn Wedding could not have been a better match for Lydia & Joey – the sweetest, laid back, and down to earth couple! I loved the variety this Barn offered for both indoor and outdoor locations, as well as its proximity to Taylor’s Falls! As an outdoorsy couple, the venue was a perfect match.

Purple & Blue Wedding Florals

Lydia chose blues and purple florals to accent her wedding day, and I just love how the sweet peas sing! Dawn from Appleblossom Flowers did such a fantastic job– florals truly tie a wedding day together in my opinion. Lydia chose three colors for her bridesmaid gowns and I love the visual result. Sage, Sea Mist and Dove Grey created such a soft palette which allowed the blues and purples to pop. Her bridal gown from Colby John was a stunner! An absolute masterpiece, and such a unique silhouette.

A Day to Be Yourself

My favorite moments from Lydia & Joey’s wedding were the candid moments of laughter. The way Lydia & Joey couldn’t decide who would read their vows first – so they did rock, paper, scissors. The jostling of the groomsmen as they tried to figure out the best way to throw Joey into the air. The genuine bonds of friendship shared by the bridesmaids and their care for Lydia on her day. The custom t-shirt given to Joey as a sign of his love for fishing – and yet his greater love for Lydia. The attentiveness of guests at the retelling of the love story unfolding. The beautiful, rich, joy of a marriage celebration!

In addition, the grounds of Bloom Lake Barn are so spacious for guests – and you could feel the atmosphere of fellowship and pure happiness as we returned after photos at Taylor’s Falls to the reception.

I loved being with you on your wedding day and know that your sincerity will be a lasting chord all your years, echoing the three chords you together during your ceremony.
