Woodhaven Wedding Inspiration in Elegant French Style

It is a wise saying that a wedding venue has great bearing on the imagery of your wedding day, and as a photographer, a Woodhaven wedding can be nothing but beautiful! With the bare look of a clean canvas, any couple will find it easy to style to their taste. With a theme of modern clean lines drawn in charcoal and white, the order and beauty of Woodhaven is clear from the design entryway. It reverberates to the ceremony space and the reception area. High ceilings and a glory of white give a feeling of grandness.

To the foundation of Woodhaven, I layered delightfully feminine touches in greens, blush, and mauve. The invitation suite designed by Ana Sophia Calligraphy brought high style to the occasion. Blooms (especially peonies!) designed by Malana Sophia Floral brought a spring cheerfulness to the white space, and the tablescape elements from Aprés Event and Tent simply stood out and waved a warm welcome.

French Elements

From the hairstyle by Kelsey of Pure Beauty Hair & Makeup, to the elegant long veil & intricate dress from The White Room, the bride here sports an elegance. I absolutely love the “old Hollywood” style of setting the veil high upon the head – it is such a refreshing take on hairpieces. Kelsey informs me that the style she chose to do is called a tousled French twist (or a modern French twist!). Her vision truly brought the bridal style together!

Unique Feminine Colors

While blush is certainly a favorite of brides, the pairing of blush with gentle greens and pops of verdant greens in the florals are tempered by chocolate scabiosa blooms, pulling the palette into a deeper and fuller range of pinks that extends to browns. The muted mauve roses enhance the spectrum of this feminine palette. The star of the floral story is the ginormous Clair de Lune peony with its happy yellow center! The floral designs of the table are infused with these special flowers and flanked by many fluffy peonies. I always recommend finding an amazing florist and trusting your floral ideas entirely to that creative! Malana truly outdid herself.
