This Hutton House wedding featured the classic, modern & simple taste of two old souls – and I loved every minute of it! Tia & Teddy were engaged in Door County and share a love for the beautiful everyday: meals together, taking care of their dogs Ryder and Oakley, and building enduring friendships.

Friendships that Last

It’s not every wedding you see three maids of honor – and the precious moment of watching these three women give their speech truly testifies to Tia’s character. Friendships that continue – not just to exist but to grow – are truly so glorious. A large wedding party doesn’t always mean that friendships are deep, but in this case it was clear that both Tia & Teddy had made deep roots where they were planted, and so every guests was wonderfully entertained by both the three Maids of Honor as well as the Best Man, Teddy’s brother.

Hutton House in the Heat

One of the many ways I can boast about the Hutton House is how fantastically it provides for guests and photography options in all kinds of weather. And not only human guests – the beloved Ryder and Oakley were allowed into the Fireside Room! (Truly guests of honor, as their namesakes were the signature drinks during cocktail hour!)

Tia & Teddy’s day was slated to be scorcher, but merciful cloud cover made it perfectly comfortable for guests. Timing was also impeccable for the brief shower, which came directly after their outdoor ceremony! During the morning, I loved the clean look of the Fireside room for family portraits and even the first look – I mean, you can’t go wrong with any spot at the Hutton House!
