Melissa & Bill are head over heels in love. It’s the first thing anyone can notice about them! They absolutely cannot help but spread the joy they feel when they are together, and so of course their wedding day could be no different! So many beautiful and touching moments marked this day, especially in the gifts Melissa & Bill to their parents. From Bill surprising Melissa during their first look to the most touching letter read during toasts, these two had their hearts on their sleeves and it was such a delight to witness the way they honored their family.

Grandma’s Letter

One of my favorite moments of Melissa & Bill’s wedding happened during the reception. After so much laughter as the Matron of Honor shared how Melissa and Bill’s relationship began, and a few good words from the Best Man, the tone in the room shifted. As Melissa’s mother took the microphone, Melissa began to tear up. The Bride’s beloved grandmother, though unable to make it to the wedding because she passed away just months before the big day, had written the couple a letter. She knew she wouldn’t be present for the wedding and she wrote her heart to Melissa and Bill, read for all to hear. Honoring her memory in this way was such a beautiful moment.

Redeemed Farm – the Perfect Scandia Wedding Venue

Apart from the tears of grandmother’s letter, it seemed the entire day of Melissa & Bill’s wedding was filled with laughter and true enjoyment for both family and friends. The grounds of Redeemed Farm feature many small gathering places for guests to enjoy conversation. True to their romantic natures, Melissa & Bill specifically mentioned to couples to go on a stroll! I loved seeing the way that Melissa & Bill carved out private time together on their wedding day. It paired so well with the easygoing, happy feel of the day. My favorite touch? These two elected for a private last dance to end the night – love it!

What gifts you are to each other! I absolutely love the ways that you continually date each other and show that giddy happiness to everyone you meet. I hope the score of your spontaneous thumb wars stays fairly even and that you look back on this day with such fondness. It was a blast!
