Bermuda blue paired with fresh greens and whites set the tone for Ally & Brady’s Redeemed Farm fall wedding, an October day in Scandia where every detail was handmade, heartfelt, or handed down. Two teachers with a deep, shared faith, Ally & Brady surrounded themselves with the people who have shaped them. Their story truly belongs in a romance novel! I cannot get over how darling they are – and the speeches did it full justice!

Heartfelt Details

From their first date at a malt shop, Ally & Brady became inseparable. I loved how they made their most precious wedding details the ones that were close to their hearts. Ally wore a ring engraved with her maiden name in her dad’s own handwriting, a loving nod to the family that nourished her into the woman she is today. Ally wore her Essense of Australia gown, with a scoop neckline and all over floral appliqués. She carried her mom’s purse from her wedding day, and her bouquet was tied with lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress and a ribbon from her mother’s bouquet. Three generations of women woven into one bouquet!

Redeemed Farm was the perfect venue for a couple so rooted in their faith. The vibe was classic and simple. Beneath a white cross, Ally & Brady shared their vows with Pastor Stiles officiating. The smiles and tears were so real. It is such a blessing to see families in such a posture of gratitude for the one their child chose to marry. Ally & Brady, your parents were glowing! You are so deeply loved!

Making The Day Their Own

One thing I love about Ally & Brady is how simple hearted and unified they are in their approach to life. They kept their day elegant, classic, and carved out unique moments all their own. Right after the ceremony, they shared a champagne tower pour with their wedding party. What a perfect time to have bubbles to celebrate!

Guests enjoyed a time of fellowship in the outdoor patio space where Ally’s inspo brought her to creating a giant polaroid prop – such a cute photo ops for guests! The evening continued in the Historic Barn for the dinner reception, catered by Donatelli’s. Guests were served gelato, to everyone’s delight! Instead of a traditional wedding cake for the crowd, Ally & Brady did a family cake cutting surrounded by the hydrangeas of Redeemed Farm.

Letter to the Couple

Ally & Brady,

You two are teachers at heart, fiercely compassionate and able to relate to everyone. I loved watching you maintain peace and pour it into everyone around you on your wedding day. Your faith was not just a part of your ceremony, it was the foundation of the whole day, and it was a joy to see it so evident in the way you love each other and your families. Thank you so much for the great privilege of attending your wedding. I’m praying that the Lord works a delight for challenge into your hearts, as you trust more and more in His goodness every day of your life.

Redeemed Farm is one of my favorite venues in all of Minnesota. The warmth of hospitality mixed with the spacious design make for such an ideal wedding venue! I am always floored by how well the grounds and gardens are tended to, and I will always recommend it as a first choice venue to anyone who will listen. Located northeast of the Twin Cities, just 35 minutes from the bustle of the city, it offers a truly destination feel without the international flight. Located in the St. Croix vine country, the quiet town of Scandia offers the perfect setting for a private event.
