I’m thrilled to share this absolute orchid dream wedding held at Windows at Marquette with you all today. It’s full of modern elegance, urban charm, and luxury textures. This venue is stunning – offering guests an overlook of Minneapolis, even in the ceremony space! I truly had so much fun styling Katie & Cal’s invitations and details. How could i not? Her bouquet was a waterfall of white orchids! A complete dream.
Windows on Minnesota Wedding Design
Altogether, this wedding took my breath away. I just love the intentionality and purpose infused in the ceremony site decor! While some might minimize the ceremony altar and reason that wedding ceremonies are often short, it actually provided Katie & Cal a perfect backdrop for their first look, family formals, and even husband and wife portraits. As a result, the entire wedding day gallery has such a cohesive sophistication. Floor to ceiling draping transformed a wall into an elegant altar space. In other words, fabrics, florals, and the right chairs truly redefined the room into a bower honoring this marriage. I would even go so far as to say that this Windows on Minnesota wedding photographed as beautifully as it did because of this one design choice.
Styling Your Wedding With Intention
In addition, I simply can’t part from this post until I comment about how seamlessly all elements of this wedding flow together. From the invitation suite to the clean whites of the orchids, golden tones became the thread which brought this vision to bear. What a vision! Even the golden gilt chairs of the reception space mimic the golden text of the invitation suite. The bold choice of Cal’s white tuxedo allowed for the design elements to balance perfectly even in portraits. Well done, team!
