Oh friends, this purple June wedding was such a joy to capture! This tight knit family and friends filled the Gardens of Castle rock with a truly joyful anticipation. The voices of many kids running on the green grass, the multiplication of happy tears, and the amazing expression of joyful surprise are memories I cherish from this day.

Consequently, the ceremony and reception were filled many sincere expressions. I will never forget this wedding because it featured the most speeches from family and friends I have ever seen. Notably, Desiree & Isaiah’s friend (and DJ) who took credit for this day because he used his Chipotle rewards points to cater a party which caused their relationship to start. (Can you believe it?!) Isaiah’s fun personality exploded as Desiree learned about this moment, she giving an incredulous expression as he jumped up clapping and cheering. Such a fun moment to witness!

A Unique Blend

Isaiah has Puerto Rican heritage, and I just have to share how amazing their first dance featured the two of them coming together as one. Their first dance began in a more traditional style but then, suddenly, the music shifted and these two were dancing like pros to such amazing latino music! I love it when a dance gets everyone engaged and watching along. I love how Desiree and Isaiah blended fun, elegance, and pops of personality into their wedding.

I bless your marriage with the same blessing as one of your speeches – hold tight to one another– it is you two against the world! Just as you choose a unique purple for your wedding color, you two have a completely unique flavor as a couple.
