There is nothing like a January wedding to warm the hearts of guests in Minnesota! Meg & Ben’s day brought the nostalgia of the 3 Ten Event Venue into harmony with their heirloom jewelry pieces and the elegant style of Meg’s dress! To start, their invitations gave a nod to art deco, and were so fun to style with the bezel set engagement ring, Ben’s grandfather’s cufflinks, and Meg’s grandmother’s necklace!

The Beauty of Family Ties

One of the unique elements of Meg & Ben’s day was how dearly loved family members took part in the ceremony and reception. Meg’s father officiated their ceremony, drawing in all guests to the love story that began in college. From the first mention of “a friend from college” to the indoor ice skating proposal, Meg and Ben both share such a dynamic sense of adventure and zest to bring friends together. Both mothers read scripture in turn, and the whole extended family came out to the dance floor! Indeed, the entire day felt as though both families had become one. Everyone cried with laughter as Ben’s brother landed the most perfect lines during his speech, and Meg’s maids of honor shared their sweet stories.
