My jaw is on the floor, you guys! This Redeemed Farm wedding inspiration didn’t just become a favorite of mine… I am writing to announce that I am featured in print for the second time in the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Minnesota Bride Magazine! My collaboration with Ashley Fox Designs is featured in the florals section in two full spreads (yes, that’s 4 pages!!) Scoop up your copy from the stands!
Featured in Print!
Last year, I was amazed and blown away that my work was chosen by the editors (you can see those images and that issue here) and this year I can hardly believe it. It is such a wonderful thing to have Minnesota Bride curating the work of so many incredible creatives in the wedding industry. Folks, this magazine is a tomb. It is heavy in the hand because it has so much to offer!
Before I get into the details of this work, I must give honor where it is due. All glory to the Lord for letting me use this gift of photography to inspire and serve others! Thank you to my husband for his unwavering steadiness and encouragement through every frustrating roadblock. And thank you to every couple, senior, or family that has hired me as your photographer – you have truly been a part of the journey of my artistic growth! 😍
It is truly no small feat to plan a wedding, and I love how crafting an inspirational shoot gets me in the mindset of my couples! The many details and choices in aesthetics can indeed press upon you!
Redeemed Farm Inspiration & Apple Blossoms
I can never get enough of Redeemed Farm’s beauty and always ache to be there in springtime. This day was a dream come true! I must begin by sharing how amazing it was to collaborate with Ashley Fox Designs, who selected, designed, and refined the florals as well as the event design. I took on the roles of design concept, coordination (bringing all the people & elements together), and photographer.
Ashley is truly a legend. We faced obstacles just like on a real wedding day and she is absolutely a rock. Unphased. Totally focused on creating beauty, with the best planning possible done beforehand. Her desire and mine was to use the blossoming apple tree boughs as the centerpiece of the ceremony design since these typically bloom around early May in Minnesota. She designed a trio of arbor arches for the aisle that echo the stone arch of the Redeemed Farm vineyard lawn. Truly the harmony of this scene was fearsome to behold. I am so thankful for Ashley’s gracious manner, her definitive artistic sense, and her great care for every detail. I’ve told her this in person, but working with Ashley was truly a greater honor than being featured in the magazine!
The Finer Details
For the invitation suite, I knew I needed maximal elegance and softness – Letterland Studio absolutely crushed this vision! She brought the crabapple front and center with a vellum closure, and even chose to create a custom drawing of the Redeemed Farm wine gate on the save the date. Her palette offered a complementary tone to the crabapple blossoms and honed in on the beautiful pinks found in the blossoms of these trees in May!
This Rime Arodaky bridal gown brought the feminine and luscious textures together. With a fitted bodice and fluffy sleeves, this design showcases the shoulders in a bold way and yet stays classic in its silhouette. Accented by delicate vine embroidery, the delicate capped veil harmonized the stunning & unique earrings by A.B. Ellie. Laura of Facewell Artistry chose the perfect pop of pink lip and look for a spring bride. Our amazing videographer Tim Thornburg captured the aisle moments in video, and even captured some beautiful behind the scenes footage you can see on Ashley’s instagram 🙂
Thank you so much to all of you who feel inspired by my work & for supporting me along the way! I am so thankful for this team, and all the time given to make this day so beautiful. Below you can see all the images chosen by the editors of Minnesota Bride for the feature spread!
