Jordyn’s inspiration for a modern black color theme came to full fruition with bow accents, soft pinks, and intentional touches like personal note escort cards written by the couple. The Fun Modern Look: Pink Florals & Black Bows

I began the day as I always do – styling and photographing detail elements of the bride and groom’s attire as well as the invitations, menus, and unique elements these two included in their day. I just have to say the black bow was such a darling theme throughout the day! From the menus to personal escort notes and cupcakes, I just loved how Jordyn integrated the modern and the fun together.

Bridesmaids took the black theme to the next level with their elegant Birdy Grey Black Matte Satin dresses which elevated the bridal party into a cohesive modern coterie with pops of pink in their bouquets. Jordyn’s Maggie Sottero dress with modern cat eye neckline and fit and flare bodice mirrored the same synthesis of feminine and modern styles.

The Unforgettable Moments

Right from the start, the gifting and happy tears began! Jake surprised Jordyn with an adorable Wifey sweater and an anniversary journal, Jordyn surprise Jake with a putting green just outside the groom suite, and the emotions only got bigger from there. I love how you can truly feel the joy through the photos of Jordyn’s gifting moment with her mom, and the teary gladness during her first look with her dad!

Praying before they saw each other for the first time, Jordyn & Jake took the sweetest first look as well as pulling in their friends to recreate a first hangout photo – a reminder of where it all began! I love how these two truly enjoyed every part of the day to the fullest. The community around these two is truly amazing, and the worship throughout the day in prayer, scripture, and song saturated these memories.

You are vivacious, full of grace, and such a joy to be around! I bless your marriage and rejoice with you! I pray that you would lean into the Lord as He refines you, making you more and more filled with the fruits of His Spirit. Watching you hug every guest after your ceremony, I could see the delight you both have for gathering people together. You shine so brightly and I am so happy you are now husband and wife!
