Hey hey! I’m Jennifer, a Minnesota luxury wedding photographer, and in this post I’ll share photos and details from Cecilia and Brett’s Bear Path Country Club Wedding held in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Cecilia and Brett began their wedding day at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. I love the architecture of the exterior as well as the vaulted ceilings and walls accented in blue. Cecilia elected for white bridesmaids dresses, for a wedding party completely decked out in black and white. This high contrast elegant look was complement by cream florals with hints of green. What a fun bridesmaid bunch they made with their white paper parasols!

Sharing a first look in the shade of the church lawn, Cecilia & Brett lived their day fully alive to the blessings of friends and family. The way that God brought these two together is truly incredible and these two did not take a moment for granted! They encountered each part of wedding day with a vivacious joy and gratitude I truly admire.

Watching family surround them with cheers as they exited the church, I saw the immense blessing these two were walking into. The beauty of a marriage so embedded in beautiful values of family and faith. The delight of a longing fulfilled as the beautiful dream turned into reality. Warm and genuine, these two witnessed in their speech to their guests how good God’s plans are, far above our own ability to devise.

Bear Path Country Club Wedding Reception

I’ve admitted to my couples many times that speeches are often my favorite part of a wedding. I get to know you two so much more deeply through your closest friends and family members. Sometimes the genre leans towards the comedic, and other times towards the tender and tear-inducing. At Ceclia & Brett’s wedding every speech was sincere and from the heart. In the stunning ballroom of Bear Path Country Club, beneath the draped ceiling, guests laughed and recounted the personalities of Celica & Brett in the story of their coming together. Such a tangible gratefulness filled the reception room. Bright home grown flowers covered the tables in bud vases and as the sunset approached, the whole room felt totally relaxed. Completely at home as coffee service began and the evening wore on.

I consider it such an honor to photograph this sacred and joyful day! Knowing Cece’s family from her sister’s wedding, this day felt like a giant family reunion with an effortless good time for all. I will never take for granted the honor of being invited back for another family wedding!

Cece & Brett,

You are such a treasure. I am so thankful that you trusted the Lord to lead you, waiting for His timing to bring you to each other. May you ever grow in seeing each other as the Lord’s unique craftsmanship. I pray that you courageously face the challenges that come your way, leaning always on His understanding above your own. Know that I remain ever your friend, cheering you on in your marriage!
