The modern lines of Equestria West fit perfectly into Amy & Ronnie’s vision of an elegant black and white wedding. Amidst the dry golden grasses of early November, Amy & Ronnie threw a celebration with full intentions of throwing a party to be remembered!

Black and White Wedding Details

Amy & Ronnie crafted an invitation suite that reflected their love for classic design and clean lines. With white roses as the star floral, black ribbons made their debut on the bride’s bouquet, the champagne bottles, and their champagne flutes. The reception space was laid with crisp white linens and white rose stems adorning the tables with black napkins framing the menus. I love the eye for detail that Amy & Ronnie brought to their day! Amy designed an entire cart of swag (black and white of course!) to hype up the dance floor. Even their cute cake got a black ribbon 🙂

An Equestria West Ceremony

The courtyard of Equestria West is perfect for a private ceremony outdoors. With golden chairs framing the fountain and the white lattice work, the bridesmaids and groomsmen in black created the perfect wedding day colors in the wide view of the ceremony. White rose petals sprinkled the aisle with trios of candles lining the rows. I love how the bride’s entrance is framed by the A-frame architecture of the roof! My favorite moment from Amy & Ronnie’s day happened during the ceremony. As Ronnie took his first glance at Amy walking down the aisle with her parents, his emotions were an open book. Witnessing the affection these two share was truly a delight.

Letter to the Couple

Amy & Ronnie,

I was so honored when you booked me so far in advance for your wedding – I knew you had a special vision and I am so thankful for your trust to capture it! I love the ways that you truly personalized your day (THE SWAG!) as well as the way you were able to be in the moment and truly relish the joys of getting married. I loved your champagne tower moment as I feel it symbolizes you two: overflowing with zest for trying new things together. May your devotion and love ever deepen as you bear your new titles of husband and wife!
