As the storm of COViD-19 barreled through the United States, Trisha & Tyler chose to keep their wedding date and downscale their celebration in Faribault. Can I just say how proud I am of them? Letting the closed doors around them take their day would have been a WAY EASIER option. The American dream wedding with lots of family and friends around you has become what we expect for ourselves and for others. Parties simply don’t mix with preventing large scale diseases from spreading. My son’s first birthday was prey to the same circumstances. So oh buddy was I thrilled when Trisha & Tyler told me of their wedding 2.0 plans! I couldn’t wait to see them again! Almost 10 months ago their engagement session blew me away!
Indeed, these two have style, class, and all the sweetheart vibes to boot! Tyler’s attentive strength combined with Trisha’s gentleness makes for a stunning combination. One of my favorite moments of the day? Definitely the cake cutting. With zest Trisha warned Tyler of the dangers of cake smashing– only to plot her own smash later! I think you’ll have to forgive her, Tyler, for her amazing taste in footwear, and also in choice of husband 🙂
Trisha & Tyler,
Honestly – as a turtle poking its head out of the quarantine shell, I was amazed by your preparations and the simple dignity you gave to becoming husband and wife. I’m still holding my breath to see you in your wedding dress, Trisha! And Tyler, thank you for valeting my car (on your wedding day!). You must be trying to bowl me over with kindness. It was such a joy to photograph you and your Faribault wedding!!!
Joyfully,
Jennifer
p.s. I just had to include those COViD-19 mask photos. Documenting the times!
