The hazy light curving over the hills of River Bend in Faribault set the perfect stage for an engagement session. Tyler kept making Trisha laugh as he held her in the middle of the field and Zeus the german shepherd stayed loyal and close. (Really, I thought they had tried him to stay in the frame!) I laughed away from my camera so many times I lost count. Tyler had a way of turning his pose with dramatic flair. Ready to shoot, and Trisha & Tyler ‘s banter would get me laughing. I’m not sure who had a better time. (And Tyler, you nailed it. Truly. Evidence below.)

Let’s rewind. The first time I met Trisha and Taylor for coffee, I could not stop smiling. It’s a trend, you see. Perhaps it’s the story of their engagement and first encounter which revolve around water bottles being lost and stolen, respectively. Maybe it’s Tyler’s success at making Trisha laugh undergirded by his desire to make Trisha’s wedding dreams come true.  Trisha’s sweetness and Tyler’s humor create such a pleasant environment that I knew their engagement session would be just that: sweet and salty.

You know that friend you have, who does not seem to see how truly gorgeous they are? This is Trisha. Absolutely stunning– and who absolutely trekked to the river rocks in heels! You know that man who works faithfully and doesn’t let his woman down? That’s Tyler. A bedrock. And also quite creative – you’ll have to wait for the stories on this one. I can’t give away the surprise!
