Want to have an amazing time at your engagement photos? Bring your puppy – and your amazing sister (future Maid of Honor!) – you ‘re sure to win! Carly & Josh made the colder-than-is-respectable Minnesota October temps feel warmer somehow. I think it was their joy! Sweet doggie Auggie melted my heart because he was so obedient! In fact, he may even sway me to thinking that it *might* be amazing to become a dog owner someday. It was truly a team effort that made their session, well, effortless!

My Humans Are Getting Married

Auggie bore his sign proudly, a foreshadow to his coming debut in the wedding next year! (I think we should all admire how regally he sits and looks right at the camera! (Ok, I did do my signature dog bark and most dogs respond very well, but still.) I think my favorite image of the trio is the one where Auggie is giving Carly a kiss. So sweet!

Engagement Photos are Fun

Carly & Josh came so prepared to their engagement session! Three outfits! I just love how outfits add so much variety to a gallery or an album. I knew that these two were loads of spontaneous fun because I met them at Angy & Mario’s wedding! I still think back on the ladies of that wedding and think how amazing they all looked in those blue dresses! (And also how rapidly the men lifted Mario up to the sky!) A celebratory champagne pop fit in so perfectly.

What a blast to spend some Saturday time with you, Auggie, and Katy! I can’t wait for next year– I am so glad you have this special day to look forward to as 2020 comes to a close. Josh, you were beyond natural and your compliment about how smooth you felt your session went still touches my heart. Carly, you are a glorious fiancé, and you shall be a glorious bride! Your planning and thoughtful choices made for such a wonderful time!
