A River Bend engagement session in near freezing temperatures? No problem for Melissa & Clark, the fun loving and adventurous duo. In fact, they even added their own donut toss finale! Oh man, these two are so hilarious. Clark made the most amazing faces between every shot (just a few included here for a laugh!) and Melissa didn’t complain once about being cold.

I loved working with Melissa and Clark because their story is so romantic! When they shared their story with me during our first meeting I smiled so much!  Clark moved back across the country for this prize woman! This session was very magical in spite of it being October with such cold and snow on the ground. We even saw some white tailed deer traipse through the meadow.

Melissa & Clark work at the same school and they have so much fun doing life together. So after our time spent for River Bend engagement photos, we just had to snap a few at Shattuck St. Mary’s! I love how everyone, I mean everyone wants photos near the arch. I know another educator family at Shattuck and they tell me how folks are always stopping for a photo op! That arch does make quite the statement. I love how Melissa put it as we moved sidewalk to road again and again: “We know everyone here.” Melissa & Clark, you two have such a joy in what you do at the school! I smiled again when the donut toss began. They even bought me my own donut! (happy cry emoji!) What amazing sports (pun intended, Clark) these two are! It turned out the donut toss finale had with an audience – several students spying on us!
