Amanda & Anthony’s Glenhaven wedding was set for the most beautiful fall weather! The golden tones in the trees made a positively striking setting for this bride & groom’s first look. (And certainly a much warmer setting than Amanda & Anthony’s engagement session in the snow!)
The First Look
Amanda chose a sweet bridge at a local park for her first look with Anthony. Wearing her grandmother’s pearl necklace, Amanda approached her future husband. The excitement welled up inside them as the reality of the big day finally hit! No more rushing, planning, getting objects where they needed to be – just being together.
Ceremony at Glenhaven
The first thing to note about Glenhaven is that it is a veritable pine tree forest with quite a woodsy magic. Minnesota is home to both deciduous and coniferous trees, but it reminded me of the great northern parts of our state seeing so many pines! (The view from behind the altar area is so swoon-worthy!) Amanda & Anthony upheld all COViD precautions as they joined with family and friends to celebrate their marriage. The couple distilled the reception down to a restaurant outing with the wedding party, and as I headed out that evening I could tell – this group was ready to have fun!
Amanda & Anthony,
Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your big day – truly, I never take this trust for granted and I bless your marriage! May you enjoy the many adventures and challenges ahead of you, and may together be your favorite place to be.
