I can’t wait to share this Farmington Senior photography session today! The evening I got to spend with Ella was such a wonderful time, and her images reflect that! Ella’s three outfits were chosen to play up her gorgeous green eyes and I’d say we definitely accomplished that. Way to go, girl!

Tips from this Farmington Senior Photography Session

I’m so thrilled to share Ella’s session partly because of the amazing golden glow we achieved in her photos. Do you see that ring of light in her hair? This is because we started the session about two hours before sunset. By the end of the session, the light carried a rosy hue and softness – simply stunning to behold. I highly recommend this time of day for getting a softer light (unless you want to wake up early in the morning, which is an option too!) It is possible to photograph outdoors any time of the day. I have to shoot at unfavorable times of the day a lot during weddings! The beauty of a stand alone portrait session, however,  is that you have the luxury of deciding a start time. Take advantage of the best lighting for your senior photos!
