St. Mary’s Catholic Church looks simply more stunning in person than it does online! Ever since Caroline & Andy’s engagement session, I’ve been so excited to see them get married! These two are such sweet, down to earth people. It’s a joy to know they will be living in my town! I met Caroline for the first time photographing her friend Lisa’s wedding and couldn’t wait to see this fun crew again.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church
Beyond the fields, a stunning bell tower peeks out in New Trier. Red brick and stone accents artfully contrast the green trees waving on this windy day. I enjoyed shooting here so much! Photographing Caroline & Andy with such stunning architecture in the background was an artist’s treat.
The Gardens of Castle Rock
I found out that Caroline worked the summer before her wedding at the Gardens! The team there is absolutely fantastic. So of course, I was not surprised when Caroline came out of the bridal suite for photos and Glen and his team jumped up and down in excitement from the road!
Altogether, this beautiful day filled my heart. However, it was not without surprises. A stunning storm broke out during the reception and these two braved the imperfections of their day so well. I have to say, the uncle they employed as DJ did an absolutely fantastic job with his comedy.
Caroline & Andy,
Your families have the best humor. Your collective sincerity shone so exquisitely throughout the day. I laughed so much during your toasts! When we first met and you shared about how you love cooking and reading good books together, I knew your marriage was off to a great start. Your devotion to the Lord and to each other is so beautiful to behold!
Joyfully,
Jennifer
