A winter wonderland in Red Wing can only be made better by a St. James Hotel wedding! Katie & Jared threw in all the Christmas feels for their day, and the only thing that could have been better is for a blizzard warning to have stayed away. One thing the powerhouse weather couldn’t move is Katie & Jared’s dedication to each other. From the up lights Jared brought and designed himself, to the monogrammed velvet robes Katie gifted her ladies, this day was a dream!

Reds and Greens for a St. James Hotel Wedding

The whimsical nature of Christmas abounded at the St. James, from the gingerbread hotel to greenery adorning the railings, to the many trees beautifully dressed throughout the hotel. I love that Katie & Jared fully embraced the reds and greens! My favorite visual spots of the hotel were the entrances, which featured full pillar decor including red bows and ornaments. With snow layering the streets, Katie & Jared’s first look and portraits were literally framed in evergreen by the St. James.

Christmas in Red Wing

I would be utterly remiss if I did not point out the Red Wing connections throughout the wedding day. Katie & Jared each wore their Red Wing Shoes. Heimie’s Haberdashery served as the perfect place for the groom & groomsmen’s getting ready photos, especially with the professional pocket square assistance! Clementine Flowers, another local business located right inside the St. James, designed beautiful festive arrangements.
