What a joy it is for me to share this lush Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Wedding! In a beautiful display of the groom’s Jewish heritage and their joint Christian faith, Rachel & Cade wed under a beautiful birch and floral chuppah in the Arboretum’s Sensory Garden. Golden sunlight poured through the trees, filtering through the tallit (prayer shawl), and forming the most beautiful highlight around the couple. You simply have to see it to believe it! The couple held their reception at the Hutton House and brought a garden to life on candlelit tables.
Monet & Old World Charm
Rachel and Cade drew inspiration for their wedding day from Monet’s water lily painting. They incorporated the color palette into stunning florals by Studio Fleurette to accent a lovely invitation suite, their ceremonial chuppah, as well as a decadent head table meadow. Even the dining tables felt like walking into a candle-lit painting!
Touches of old world charm brought luxurious textures to the day through a lace-fringed wedding sign, “Just Married” chair accents, lace-fringed table numbers, and the bride’s stunning Millanova basque-waist ballgown dress. The couple’s tiered lambeth buttercream cake also lent to the intricate textures of the day. Monet’s water lilies painting formed the backdrop for the seating chart as well as the vellum wrap & envelope liner of the invitations. In addition to the delight to the eyes, the couple brought the sonorous sounds of live music into their day. As Rachel came down the aisle, the Birchwood Quartet provided their ceremony music. Guest were treated to more string music during cocktail hour. The Blue Water Kings Band brought the evening and late night energy into the reception, with saxophone and trumpet!
Letter to the Couple
Rachel & Cade,
Ever since first meeting you I was impressed by your kind hearts, your gentle strength, and the way you seek to honor your parents, and most of all, the Lord. I am truly so grateful to be a witness to your marriage! He has given you such gifts in each other and I pray that the memory of your wedding day would always remind you how many hearts are holding you in prayer, and celebrating alongside you. Through the joys and challenges ahead, let His faithfulness be your anchor!
With love,
Jennifer
