Bobbie & Matt’s wedding day was full of the deepest laughs and tears that you can’t keep back. It is one thing to come into someone’s life when you are at your best, and quite another to walk alongside someone in a season of deep sorrow. The way Matt looked at Bobbie the entire day said everything words can’t convey — his loyalty and devotion was on display, and the whole day was infused with the strength of it.
Wed in the White Stable of Redeemed Farm
Redeemed Farm set the most perfect stage for Bobbie & Matt’s vision. Tucked away in Scandia among rolling greens, the vineyard was a backdrop for their palette of dusty rose, soft blues, lavender, and white — a combination that felt like summer at its most gentle and romantic. Hummingbird Floral brought that palette to life, filling the ceremony and reception spaces with lush, garden-style arrangements of delphinium, stock, roses, and ranunculus.
Bobbie and Matt wed in the White Stable, exchanging vows under its vaulted ceiling. Bobbie beamed in her modern A-line gown with a beautifully pleated skirt by Jimmy Huang Bridal — elegant and effortless in equal measure. A wooden cross formed the altar, framed by floral arrangements which sang against the clean planked walls.
The ceremony carried a weight of sacred tenderness. Bobbie’s late beloved sister, Nora, was her Maid of Honor. As the wedding party processed into the hall, the best man carried a single rose down the aisle in her honor, placing it on the chair reserved especially for her. Family and friends who knew and loved Nora felt her presence woven through the whole day. Bobbie wore Nora’s cross necklace as part of her bridal look, and the reception table of wedding party members again held a place for her rose.
An Evening of Gelato, Gratitude & Genuine Joy
Entering their reception, a raucous excitement exploded in the room full of family and friends chanting to start the welcome speech, “Bobbie! Bobbie! Bobbie!” And the joy only increased! Every guest found a hand written note from the couple on their table, amidst cute table lamps and golden tones.
A delicious dinner from Donatelli’s flowed into speeches that held a beautiful mix of laughter and love. Listening to Bobbie’s mom, her cousin, and the best man paint the picture of their love story was magnetic. Then the couple surprised everyone with gelato service — a crowd favorite! The mood was electric. And everyone brought that vibe to the dance floor!
Letter to the Couple
Bobbie & Matt,
I am so truly thankful you invited me into this season of your lives. To witness everyone brimming with happiness to cheer you on (literally!) at the starting line of your marriage is a treasure. The way you chose to begin your reception — standing up together, welcoming your people, and offering a prayer over your marriage — it was simply beautiful.
The courage and perseverance you’ve walked in as a couple is beautiful. Matt, I have to say I don’t think you could have hidden how much you love Bobbie if you tried! Your honest reaction was such a gift for everyone to see. I am so deeply honored to have been the one holding the camera on your day. I pray that your marriage will be full of the same warmth, faith, and laughter that filled every corner of Redeemed Farm on June 5th.
With Love,
Jennifer
