The nuptial mass held at the Church of St. Dominic in Northfield drew close friends together to bless the marriage of Lisa & Kristjan. True friends sang as cantor, played as pianist, and stood to bear witness to the union. A wedding enjoyable in its simplicity.
As the couple ascended the steps to declare their vows, I felt such joy at seeing Lisa’s smile. Kristjan held her gaze with such steadiness. As the congregation lifted their hands in blessing, the sanctity of marriage and the beauty of the Scriptures resonated in full color. The Catholic church upheld Lisa & Kristjan with song, the liturgy of the word, and with the goodwill of many.
I knew I would be impressed on Lisa’s wedding day from the first day I met her. (I mean, this woman waited to meet me since the birth of my second child kept me away!) I met Kristjan over the phone, and our conversation was not short. I heard the kindness and joy in his voice and knew I would like him when we met on wedding day. He did not disappoint. When a man moves from Virginia for you, you know he’s devoted and loyal.
I’m so eager to see you two out and about in town! I cannot say enough how honored I feel to be entrusted with your big day, and to witness your nuptial mass. So stunning to behold.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
