Driving from the Twin Cities to Gustavus Adolphus College isn’t a short journey – especially if you are a teacher in the fall with a whole new classroom! When I first met Ezra and Molly, I could instantly see the first grade teacher inside her, especially the kind voice & the thoughtful way of speaking. But I could also see so much more. A simple sweetness and a genuine trust mark Molly & Ezra. Proof: they agreed to meet for engagement photos before sitting down and talking with me! (And yes, that was partial for nabbing Minnesota’s fall color). Usually I have a client consultation before I book with my brides & grooms!
These two took the time to trek down to St. Peter, back to their alma mater, and to the same place where they will soon wed! After seeing the Gustavus Adolphus chapel, I know the wedding can’t be anything but majestic! Molly & Ezra prove that you can be both elegant and sweet. I am always so floored when my clients offer to hold my bags for me. It’s completely my job but somehow as a photographer I forget the beauty of simple courtesies that less and less people think about. I am so grateful when clients trust me with locations and when they feel comfortable enough to suggest their own! It’s a beautiful partnership. From the stunning hillside with the college sign to the chapel and the arboretum, I felt like I was photographing friends instead of people I’d just met!
Molly & Ezra,
I so enjoyed spending time with you two. Thank you for driving me around your beautiful alma mater, and for trusting me to capture this special time in your lives! May your wedding planning be filled with exciting moments together as you plan for your forever.
